Robinson, Connecticut Chapter introduces the use of a HOLLOW MILL for this purpose. 2) May 1984 Piano Technicians Journal, pages 27-29, Shop Talk, Agraffes, by Susan Graham, RPT, San Francisco Chapter explains that "...a hollow mill does not come with a stem...", whereas the counterbore does. "...It has the same center hole and protruding blades arrangement..." The article goes into detail on replacing a set of agraffes from one of the best technicians around. Keith A.
