I don't have all that much free time to scan my mail, and find it fairly tedious to sort through the chaff of one-liners and silly puns to get to the substance that makes this list valuable to me. I do not want to minimize the value of the sense of community that is apparent on this list, but sometimes it does get a bit out of hand. IMHO this list should be a forum for the discussion of technical issues related to the maintenence of piano. Not comedy central, and certainly not a for sale board.
