I currently use a homemade "thumper" to lessen the shock to the wrist that a very firm blow delivers. In reality, I think everything contributes. If CT syndrome is caused by repetitive gripping twisting motions and it seems like everything we do, we do at least 88 times, then it may be difficult to really sift it out.
