There's a new Disklavier moving to Seattle. If any tech in the area
that is not on a dealer's payroll would like the call, email me for
details.
------------------------------------

What's wrong with being on a dealer's payroll? Especially is one if an
RPT and buys into doing the best possible job under the circumstances.
Often a dealer's technician is more familiar with these instruments and
has received the latest and comprehensive training. Also, if parts are
neeeded, they are often stocked and immediately available. Dealer techs
are often very familiar with warranty issues; and will often be paid for
their time by the dealer even if the manufacturer refuses to pay for the
service call. Besides, this dealer in a new location is not responsible
for the sale of this particular piano, so what have they to lose?

If it were not for Dealers selling pianos, none of you guys would have
any work - EVER! It's true that dealer techs are often underpaid for
their efforts, and they may not spend hours and hours on one service
call. Don't mistake efficiency for poor service.
