I just today tuned a very fine looking piano. When I first spied it as I entered the door I said to myself "Oh no, a birdcage". It was as pretty as a birdcage but I was relieved to find that it was a normal piano. The owner had bought it in Georgia and is very proud of it and well she should be. It was at pitch and the tuning was routine. But it is an old piano. I had to use my #1 tuning tip because my #3 just about spun around. It has an 85 note keyboard, rocker capstans and an exposed pinblock in the tuning pin area. The owner wants to know how old it is and it's not listed in the Pierce Piano Atlas. The piano is an Oscar Agthe, S/N 13200, built in Berlin. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Ted Simmons, FL
