	Steinway was purchased recently by Selmer, a band instrument
company based out of Elkhart, Indiana.  Selmer is a leader in the band
instrument business and builds everything from student instruments up to
professional.  Selmers pro-line band instruments are 1st rate and hard to
beat.
	Sometimes Selmer can be a nuissance to deal with when it comes to
parts, dealers and territorial rights but that doesn't mean that they
will make those changes to Steinway.  At any rate, this move should
prove to be a good one.
