Dear List;
It is with great despondent and depressed mood that I post this in rebuttal
to Mr. Jim Coleman Sr., DPT. As a person that I have looked up to for so
long it really pains me to point out an obvious, and very serious, character
flaw in our revered, now semirevered, colleauge.
I of course refer to the following statement of Mr. Colemans !
" ASU (the undefeated football school this year, Rose Bowl etc.)."
As anyone knows the most important thing about College football is to get
an education as well as to learn how to compete in life using sports as one
vehicle to do this. To characterize ASU as only a football school shows the
shallow, devious character of Mr. Coleman. BUT more importantly he is wrong in
stating "the undefeated football school this year".
Is it possible that Mr. Coleman was busy working up ways to screw up our
minds with esoteric data on SAT and RCT rather than watching the
FLORIDA/FLORIDA STATE GAME??? Doesn't Mr. Coleman know that there is only
ONE team worthy of the phrase UNDEFEATED? That school, and a fine one it is
to, is FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY. of course ASU playing all those weak sisiter
schools in their conference and then running off to hide in the Rose Bowl has
also not lost a game this year. The very fact that ASU is going to hide in
the Rose Bowl to keep from playing FSU means they have been defeated, ergo
while they have not lost a game they have been defeated!!!!!!!!
It is with equal saddness that I most report Mr. Colemans' sorry influence
on his son, our esteemed Sec/Treas Jim Coleman Jr. As he holds the same
partisan feelings about ASU as his erstwhile father.
Fear not brethern a brighter day is coming Jan 2, 1997.
Jim Bryant (FL)
