Opinions On Insta-coiler

I purchased my Sciortino Insta-coiler at the '81 (?) PTG convention and
have used it continuously ever since.  As someone else pointed out it's
most useful for in-home replacement of individual strings.  I find it more
efficient to use my crank when re-stringing.

It doesn't take me long to use it and I don't have to completely remove the
tuning pin.  The coils are perfect almost every time.  As with any tool you
have to use it often and find the best, most efficient way to use it
effectively.

I believe one respondent has confused the insta-coiler (which is the
Sciortino one) with something else.

I highly recommend it - give it a try!
