Eric, The backcheck installer is listed on page 15 of my price list for $16.00 part # 004757. It is simply a maple block about 4 inches long an one inch square with a slot in it to set the backcheck to the correct height. A piece of leather is on top of the slot so the backcheck is not damaged when inserted. The tool is easy to use and works well. It is illustrated on page 58 if the catalogue, but you have to look hard to see it.
