A very small amount of silicone is applied to the bushings during manufacture of the parts, and this can be re-applied if desired (using Naptha to help carry into the bushing). In the rare occurance of tight centers in an action it is usually adviseable to repin the parts. The other procedures listed in the old service manual should not be used.
