Would any of you like to > comment or offer any ideas? Yes, I have found the very same thing when I used to service these instruments for a dealer from 1986-1988. One thing i have found that seemed to help me was, I would also tap each tuning pin coil down until half of the becket hole showed on the other side of the wire bend.
