removing celluloid keytops

Greetings all,

Please let me reiterate Laura's warning.  I have seen these keys do exactly
the same thing.  If I remember correctly, I either read in the Journal or
heard in a PTG seminar, someone stated that not only were these cellulose but
TriNitrocellulose Toluene (notice the capitalized letters TNT.)  This stuff
is highly flammable and dangerous to work with so take appropriate
precautions.  I certainly don't mean to sound like an alarmist but exposure
to the chemicals that we use in our profession can be much more toxic than we
often realize.  If this sounds extreme just catch one of Del Fandrich's
classes on glues and adhesives.
