Apologies to all who find social messages annoying or expensive. I marked this one in the subject box. Perhaps that might be a good way to identify them. For those who have been watching the news and wondered if we are truly buried in the white stuff... I grew up in Wisconsin (GO PACK!!!) and I have never seen anything like this. Walt & I shoveled on and off all day yesterday to clear our driveway (two cars wide). We had snow banks 4' high on each side. This morning, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING of our work shows!! It was uncanny. There is no sign of snowbank whatsoever -- the drifts have covered it all up. When Jay went to bed last night the snow was up 6" on his window. This morning it was 24". Our snowfall was officially 23" in Silver Spring. But it's beautiful, white, powdery snow, so it's not too hard to move. (Just futile...) And the snow is still falling--not supposed to stop for another 4 hours. See ya in the spring! Colette Collier, RPT
