CAUTION!! The Hanta virus is a deadly disease spread in the droppings of
mice. Once confined to the SW US, it has now spread to the NE. One of my
customers died from it on Long Island, NY. In this case, there was no
association with piano mice droppings, but the potential is there! Do not
vacuum before you disinfect the droppings by spraying some bleach on them and
then, preferably by wiping them out, not vacuuming, as this tends to spread
virus particles into the air.
