I hope the sugject line isn't too vague, but it seems appropriate. Like many of us I have some problems with joint discomfort. (If I'd stay out of the "joints" there might be less discomfort. I can hear some of you saying it already). Arthritis can make shoulders, elbows, hands really ache. Several months ago I began using a Rolyan Workhard Open Finger Glove which has a 2.5mm Sorbothane shock absorbing lining in the palm and lower fingers. This has mostly eliminated the hand and elbow pain. It is available in sizes from extra small to extra large. You can order it from Smith & Nephew Rolyan Inc., P. O. Box 578, Germantown, WI 53022. Phone 1-800-558-8633. It cost $ 28.20 plus shipping. Another item related to the discussion about removing broken agraffes is something I ran across while browsing in a local True-Value hardware story. It is called the Drill-Out Power Extractor. This ingenius little device is a combination drill and easy out. Designed for use in your cordless reversible drill, this little thing is run in reverse to drill hole until the easy out grabs and withdraws the broken portion. This should solve the problem common to regular reverse spiral easy outs-- the easy out either slips or wedges the broken bolt tighter in the thread because the hole is not drilled exactly the correct depth. I haven't tried one of these yet, but I'll surely remember them for the next broken agraffe or bolt. They are manufactured by Alden Corporation, P.O. Box 6262, Wolcott, CT 06716. Phone 1-800-832-5336. If anyone has had experience with this device, please post. Paul Stephens, RPT
