Strike Ratio

Of course as "medium" I do not refer to the ratio of parts that we use but
to the total ratio yeilded with whatever parts we use in combination with
the the actions particular key ratio.  The "medium" refers to strike ratio
which is the total ratio yeild.  So you either take what you get as a strike
ratio from choosing parts and if that does not suit your needs then you
further modify the strike ratio by changing the capstan or key balance line.
