To all, I do appreciate the comments from all, and I especially agree with Dean, Keith, Del re the use of the SAT. Several years ago I told Al Sanderson that my advice to those Associates I mentor is "after you pass your RPT tuning exam, run don't walk, don't pass GO, don't collect $200, get yourself a SAT. It's one of the best *tools* a piano tuner can have. Just remember that it is a tool, like any other tool we use in our profession. But get it *only* after you pass the exam. You need to learn those aural skills first!" Gina Carter
