Broadwood. reply

I had a customer with one of those long Broadwoods. It was straight strung.
The hammers were also leather, and sounded ok. But I had another problem.
Some of the tuning pins were very loose. No problem, I thought, I'll just put
in  larger pins. When I took one out, it was treaded, and about 2 sizes
smaller than a 00 pin. I told the customer I couldn't help her. That was
about 5 years ago, and haven't heard from her since.
