Tuning exam unisons

Sorry to go off track a little, but has there been any serious talk of
decreasing unison tollerance from .9 cents to perhaps .5 cents?  I do
understand that the unisons are counted heavily at 1.0 cents and beyond,
but a unison 0.9 cents off is still really, really bad.
