Greetings, all! I went out yesterday to give an estimate on rebuilding an old Bush and Lane upright player. When I got there, I found that it had already been disassembled by someone else. A thorough inspection revealed that all the parts were there EXCEPT that all 88 keysticks were missimg! Happy days! Bush and Lane built a fine-quality player, but they've been out of business since the late 20's. Can anyone give a rough guessimate as to what it might cost to have an entire set of keys for this piano custom-fabricated and who does such work? Over the years, I've managed to fabricate an occasional missing key from basswood, with good success, but a whole set of 88 is something else. Thanks. Les Smith lessmith@buffnet.net
