Dear List,

I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the upcoming Texas
State Association Seminar, held this year in Austin, Texas. The Seminar
dates are October 31 - November 3, 1996. This year's Seminar will be held
in the scenic Highland Lakes area northwest of Austin at The Inn on Lake
Travis.

Featured instructors include Bill Spurlock, Alan Vincent, Brian DeTar, Ray
Chandler, Paul Monachino, Nick Gravagne, Bob Marinelli and David Stanwood,
Don Dusenbury, Thom Tomko (Dallas Chapter) and Kathleen Mollberg (wife of
Austin Chapter member Bernard Mollberg). Steinway and Sons will also be
represented and will teach a class (details to be announced at a later
date).

In addition to the instructors mentioned above, we have a full slate of
mini-techs, a Founder's Forum (Veterans reflecting on how our profession
has changed or not changed over the years), University Forum (University
and College technicians discussing the carefully balanced world of budgets,
musicians, administrators, professors and pianos), and PACE Program classes
(hands-on tutorial sessions to expand and solidify basic skills).

Registration is $120 before October 1, 1996. Room rates are $55.00 per
night and all rooms have a lake view.
