Mark, Snap-On Tool company makes a very nice set of easy-outs. They are straight, not tapered like the customary conical or square variety. They are hexagonal and are about 3 or 4 inches long. (Please pardon my vagueness as my set was "liberated" from the car a while back) The corners of the hexagon have a slight protruding edge. These do the gripping. First, you select the correct size of easy-out. The set comes with drills to match the easy-outs. Drill out the agraffe or screw or whatever you wish to remove. Next, tap the easy-out in. It will fit the hole snugly without tightening the screw in the hole. Slip a collar (also supplied) over the easy-out and rotate out with a box wrench. Another nice thing about these is they grip the entire depth of the hole you drilled. I believe there are six in the set. Robert Kerr, RPT
