Board & Gray square

Hi all,
My next project is a Board & Gray square ca. 1862. It unusual in that it
has a full perimeter plate that is also the upper rim of the case. The
part of the plate that is part of the case is false grained to match the
rosewood case. The piano is in excellent condition because it spent most
of its life in Colorado. Anybody have any experience with one of these?
