A quick fix is CA glue. The glue wafers work well too. I prefer titanium oxide (show white) mixed into hide glue (1:5) and clamped with a warm brass plate. The whiteness of the glue reduces the transparency of the ivory. I've had CA repairs reveal the darker key underneath during periods of higher humidity. If you go the wafer route, trim it to fit the key before applying. Remember , do it right the first time. Don't do an expedient repair and expect it to last. Remember, someone may come along behind you and critique your work. We know all to well the embarrassment that can cause.
