They sell kits for piano stools, as well as the wooden and hardware parts separately. I have built several of these stools to match older pianos, and have used the hardware in conjunction with other construction for other purposes involving playing continuo from both a portative organ and harpsichord at the same time. (Have fun visualizing that, Stephen).
