Al and the List,
What problems did you encounter after the one and two year
period? Did the board, pinblock and bridges stay intact, and how about the
structual components.
If Chris is following this thread, how is that music teachers piano in
the Ardrie area? an old G2 if I recall.
If there is any one on the list that has some experience with these
units in the drier regions of the Continent that spans a two or three year
period, I would value any input.
Recieved a private post re; two pedals, Yamaha and Kawai's older far
east production units have no sustenudo pedal, many of the the European
models the same.
Also found out today that various chemicals are added to felt, an some
other components due to fungus growth and critters that are abundent in
Asia. Also many pieces of hardwood that we take for granted, have
substitute materials, the asian population in general are more concerned
with esthetics than the nuts and bolts of construction.
   Thanks to in advance.
