Put electrical outlets chest high, as many as you can about 8' apart. 
Put some in the cieling next to light fixtures.

Put a chain hoist from the ridge post over the stair landing with a
removable railing to hoist heavy objects upstairs.

I suggest your cieling joists are at least 2" over standard load
calculations.  Shorage can be very heavy.
