Greetings All,
The CA glue works well for removing those annoying 'clicks',
too well in some cases. If you feel a need to relace hammers with out
shanks at a later date, good luck trying to pull the hammers. You will end
up ripping the fibers of the shanks, the result will be a less than
satisfactory fit with the shank to a new set of hammers. Some time ago I
replaced a new set of shanks gratis for a customer who only asked for a new
set of hammers. So much for the permanent repair, now I reserve this
treatment for junkers, please think of the tech that has to follow you.
