Actually, I'm not necessarily stuck on the piano coming back all the way to A-440 but 400 cents is a bit out of the "tessitura" the piano was designed for. I just don't want to end up with a broken plate if it can be avoided, on raising the pitch. In 40+ years of tuning, I have never broken a plate and don't intend to. Bill Maxim
