SAT READING Steinway A

Hi Jim:

The only way I could see a Steinway A having that low F3 number would be
if it had been restrung with smaller wire, or it is a short A with wound
strings that high up the scale.  My readings were 7.1, 8.1, 7.1 for FAC.

If it sounds good, go with it.
