This is a public thanks to the Kansas City Chapter for hosting an excellent One Day Seminar this past Saturday, featuring Joel & Priscilla Rappaport. The chapter, under the able leadership of Bob Dillenger, did an outstanding job. And the pleasure of being able to learn from Joel and Pris made this an wonderfull experience. One Day Seminars, by the way, are a great way for chapters to feature top name techs from arround the country, at a fraction of the cost and effort of hosting a full scale weekend seminar. In most cases attendees get the full attention of one instructor, instead of going form one class after another. And instructors are able to delve into topics without time restraints. And there is one more advantage to a one day seminar. Unless a chapter wants national recognition, and be listed in the Journal, one day seminars do not have to be approved by RVP's or the VP. Which means a one day seminar does not have to be thought of, and planned a year in advance. Although a chapter should not put one on in just a month, a 4 to 6 months lead time should be sufficient for most one day seminars. Again, thanks to the KC Chapter, and thanks to the Rappaports for an outstanding one day seminar. Wim Blees St. Louis
