I've done this, but now I just carry my laptop which has the map program
in it.  By the way Microsoft Streets is the only map program that will
allow you to load the program and a map area from your PC to a Laptop
that doesn't have a CD-ROM.  Of course, you'd better have at least 15
meg free on the drive before you start!
