How do I unsubscribe from the mailing list? is there some other way to view
this without reciveing everything? I enjoy the reading but 120+ per day is a
bit much. thanks mike morey playerpianos@msn.com

Subject: The Pianotech List

Hi all!
Les is quite right (re: his post "Pianotech
Participation"). As most all are aware, this list was
originally conceived to be for College and University
technicians. At the same time though, we thought that
excluding anyone else who works on pianos would be
severely limiting. All are welcome.

This list is an unmoderated list; that is,
there is no moderator, no editing going on, no
guidelines to follow, no approval needed. It is up to
you, the subscriber, to be appropriate with your
messages that go to the list. It is also an open list.
That is, anyone can subscribe. We will not change
that.

Piano-related issues,questions about, and answers
to, piano-related subjects; in short, anything that has
to do with pianos and its service is what this list is
about. I will not get upset by the occasional departure
from this. Chastisements of this though, only add to
the departure. Those messages would be best sent
privately.

If it is at all possible, edit any message that you are
responding to. There are times when the original
message in its entirety needs to be there, but edit it or
leave it out when you can. That would be a great help.
Just continue to use your best judgement, and enjoy
the list. Thanks to all for your eagerness to share your
knowledge!
