a reply technique

I was hoping all this faldural would be over once I got
back from a trip. But, noooo..o.o.o.o.

Let me point out that it is not over differences of opinion
or the right of someone to express their views.
But rather the lack of computer skills,
and failure to properly read headers.

Anyways, a reply technique:

In the body of the header (I think that's what it's called) are lines:
   From: pinblockdope@piano.com (sample e-mail address)
   Repy-to: pianotech@byu.edu

Look at these two lines and decide where you want the reply to go.

If it is to the list, that's easy (we know this all too well); click 'reply'.

If it is to go to the author, highlight his/her e-mail address and copy
<ctrl c>.
Then click reply, in the <To:> field of reply post, highlight the list's address
and hit <ctrl v>. This replaces the list's address with the author's.
Now you are repling to only one person.

Thanks,
