On the Sohmer with agraffes on the bridge, I have an upright from the
1880's with such an arrangement.  The sound board is "shattered" as
it was said in song.  I would be happy to video a bunch of details,
just send a blank tape in an SASE mailer.  Email for the snail
address if interested.

ps  If the price is right, some where between one and a hundred
dollars, you can buy this piano.  Actually those bridge agraffes
