On several occasions I have tried to space strings on spinet/console pianos only to have the strings slide back together after I removed the spacing tool. Must I file a groove in the v bar (correct name?)? It seems it would be difficult to get a file in there. I know there must be a simple answer. Appreciatte the input. Dick Day Marshall MI
