I currently use an SAT, but used a Yamaha PT-100 for 2 years prior to that.
I learned aural tuning, and tuned strictly aurally for 11 years prior. The
PT-100 is an inexpensive(relatively) introduction to ETD's. Maybe you could
find a used one as they are no longer available. This would be a minimum,
as I'm not sure if the Korg has built in scales. Once you learn the
modifications necessary to the internal scales, the Yamaha does a very
acceptable job
