broken frame solution

Is this the solution for the Bechstein.
Many times i meet a grand piano Bechstein with a broken frame.
It seems that this isn't important but it isn't a nice vieuw.
Now there is in holland a firm that repairs this with cramps.(sort of
staple)
Does anyone have experience with this.
It seems to work.
