Consumer Reports on electronic keyboards

Dear List,

I never thought I'd see Consumer Reports attempt to cover anything on any
type of keyboards, imagine my surprise yesterday when I saw the picture on
the cover of the new issue. Their opening statement about nothing replacing
the sound of an acoustic piano was good to read; from there on in I thought
they oscillated back and forth between reminding people of the limitations of
cheap keyboards, and doing a good job of pointing out what some of the better
ones are good for (sounding like a whole band, i.e.) if not questioning the
long term usefulness of those goals.

Something to know some clients may now be thinking more about...

Happy Memorial Days,

Audrey Karabinus, Seattle
