Hi all, Just relating a story about what happened to me and GRK. I have been buying benches, pads, covers, and dollies from MAFCO and on to GRK since the late 1960's. I had got along with them pretty well until the end of last year when Cheryl, their order taker left their employ. She was always helpful and would let me know if I wasn't up to the minimum order amount or whatever. She was like the GRK company to me since she was the representative who took care of my ordering needs. She left and now there is a new person who is more interested in me knowing my customer number than anything I had to say. I placed an order for one of their more expensive bench cushions and assumed I was above the minimum amount. She never warned me that I wasn't. When I got the order after much delay I got the bill and there was a $5 charge for not meeting the minimum order amount. I was steamed. I wrote a check for the full amount and placed it with my letter to Gary the owner. I explained how loyal I had been for so many years and how careful Cheryl had been with all my orders and now everything had changed. I let him know that I would be looking for a new company now that I was unhappy with what was going on. I mailed it over a month ago and have never received a reply. Question: Could I run my business and get away with this, NO. You would think I would have gotten some kind of reply after 30 years of doing business with them. Subsequently I ordered new catalogs from Schaff and fabric swatches from them for their bench pads and I now sell Schaff cushions, not GRK. May I remember all this when my clients call to complain about something they believe I did them wrong with. James Grebe R.P.T. of the P.T.G. from St. Louis, MO.
