In a message dated 98-04-09 16:20:58 EDT, you write:

<< Whichever way you pound, soft or hard, when you're finished, pound hard on
each note going up or down the scale, and clean up unisons afterwards. >>

But when you clean up a unison, how do you know which string is still in
tune?
Don't you want to do the hard pounding as you are tuning?
