Speaking of wasted bandwidth, this whole tirade is a waste. If the entire

What tirade? Anybody see a tirade? How about answering the guy's question
instead of just saying how bad the piano is and giving him the impression that
it can't be tuned?

Yes, it is a more difficult piano to tune but there are ways around it. I
have given my own suggestions and others are giving theirs, including Jim.
What should be shunned and ignored are categorical condemnations of piano
brands, particular models or any individual's workmanship.

I haven't been too active on the List lately because of an extremely heavy
workload and travel that keeps me away. I have learned quite some time ago
whose posts to simply delete without reading. Generally yours are worthwhile,
Les with the exception of this one. Let's see you answer the question, not
launch into your own tirade.

Jim's posts are often very good and so I do read most of them but don't have
time to answer them all. Any post however which does nothing more than create
the impression that certain pianos, as a group, are poorly made and can't be
tuned is about the most negative thing which could be published with regards
to our profession.

You can be sure that if I see that kind of comment, I'll have one of my own.
If I choose to unsubscribe, it will be beacuase I neither have the time nor
that I see the value in remaining a subscriber, not because of pressure from
those who do not like my comments.
