Depending on the client's sentimental attachment  (is it the case they want to
keep?) I have seen a beautiful piano created by removing the case from a new
Yamaha vertical and fitting the entire works to the birdcage case.  Actually
the case is fit to the works.  It is not as easy as it may seem, but possible.
Also saw it done with a pre-1900's upright.  That one we nicknamed a
YamaSteck.
