This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/mixed attachment --------------FCE8BBF86410D1F3AE71E2D7 List; 30 year old Kawai console. Note* All dampers work just fine (inside the piano) when each note is played individually With the action in the piano and the sustain pedal depressed, the bass and the treble dampers are found to function properly. However, a two octave section of dampers around the tenor break will not move enough to clear the strings. When the action is pulled out of the piano and placed on a flat solid surface (the floor), and the damper lever is engaged, all the dampers move and work just fine.. Your thoughts please......
