There are only so many expensive pianos that will only need your very
valuable
tuning skills and nothing else. When these are serviced and the customer is
content with what you have accomplished, the spinets will be waiting for you.
Your bank account won't reflect from which kind of piano you earned the
money.

Well said!

I'd rather service 10 Betsy Ross's or even Jaspers(!) for customers who
appreciate the improvements than service one Steinway B for an over-educated,
over-paid rich guy who can't comprehend how fortunate he is to have such a
piano.

By the way, are you folks out there seeing more and more giant homes with
pianos directly in front of giant windows? The poor beasts are cooking to
death. No screens or shades possible, of course...you wouldn't want to ruin
the look of that room. And amazingly, in a 5,000 square foot house, this is
the ONLY spot that the piano can be located!

Go figure.

Stay Tuned,
