Avery, Since I have a 190, my comments my not be of too much value to you. The piano has the most amazing dark clean European bass that you may ever hear. The unisons are single-strung and the key bushings are leather. The tail is wide; the piano puts out a lot of volume for its size. My instrument is 24 years old, it has" DDR" on the plate, so it has the East German Flemming action which was heavy and somewhat sluggish before it was rebuilt with Renner parts. Forster uses Renner actions now. The Forster seems to be a well kept secret; its a shame that they don't advertise like the makers of other fine German grands. The former importer is Performance Pianos, Inc., 713 774-4402 (as of 1994). Chuck Bell Associate member
