Spelling Challenge

After several days of seeing the spelling "verticle", I've got to say
that it's "vertical"! Yes, I know, I know, there are subscribers to this
list who don't care how it's spelled. Please don't belabor me with your
replies. This is a common enough word. I hope that it will inspire those
who really don't know to at least check the dictionary.
