Hi Clair, Like snow flakes, no two sound techs are the same. Each has their own way of hanging mics with all sorts of results. It can be frustrating to do a really nice job on a wonderful piano only to have it sound like a fifty dollar spinet through the sound system. Welcome to the PTG. chris >Hi-- >I am very new to the ptg world (have just sent in my app to the local >chapter) but I went to a Willie Nelson concert last night and want to tell >you what happened and ask for guesses: > >On stage was a Steinway grand on loan from the local symphony orchestra. >Willie's sister was playing it and when the show started and he introduced >the musicians with him, of course they each played some riffs.
