restringing

Dear Les,

I am assuming the new strings have looped tails already. I would first
put the rail in a vise with the loop up and use a light hammer to round
out the loop from it's current tear drop shape. If this were
insufficient I would then take a half turn (or less if it fits) then
round out the hole. You might consider getting a pair of piston ring
expanding pliers to spread the hole.

If these strings have no loop, I cannot help you.
