Okay, you can all go ahead and have your laugh now - I finally got around to it last night! For a month or so, I've posted various questions by which it was obvious that I was overhauling (not a complete rebuild, being symantically cautious) an old upright. And many of you have been helpful and encouraging, no doubt waiting for the inevitable rite of initiation. Yes, I'm talking about my introduction to that vilest instrument of torture known to man: the jack spring reamer. It took two band-aids and a thick, leather welder's glove to finish the job, but I did finish it.
